Another #RhylBeachClean smashed

Once again I didn't get chance to take a group shot of all FIFTY TWO of you that braved the heat and sunshine  and came out to help with the beach clean. At a rough estimate I reckon we cleared up over 100kg of stuff, including quite a few plastic bottles and caps. A lot of the stuff is from folk using the beach and they couldn't use the excuse that the "bins were full" because they weren't - I checked!

Thank you to all who came along or couldn't but sent their best wishes. A special big Diolch to members of 2nd Rhyl Cub Pack (picture from Deb Blackburne) who also surveyed what they collected as part of their work towards their *Environmental Conservation, Global Issues* activity badges and *Our World Challenge* badge.

If any other community group would like to get involved, please ask!

Provisional date for next event - Sunday evening 22nd July, which I think is the start of the school holidays. But also watch out during #PlasticFreeJuly for the odd *pop up* beach clean too! Diolch yn fawr iawn pawb.
