Happy New Year to our volunteers and supporters and we invite you to our first #RhylBeachClean of the year. It's on Valentine's Day (14 February) afternoon, hence the #LoveRhylBeach tag!
Our beach is the golden jewel of our town and it's fair to say that it has been looking a bit sorry for itself over winter, with the sea defence works taking place, plus the rough seas and high winds. So it's time to do our little bit to tidy it, and the promenade, and we hope you can join us.
We will be meeting in the Kite Surf Cafe car park (DCC parking charges apply) at 3pm for a quick safety briefing before we start. If you have your own gloves / picker then please bring them. But we can also lend out all equipment needed. Families are welcome (young beach cleaners under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult) and you are welcome to bring your dog (on a lead on the prom) if you have one.
We aim to finish by 4.20pm, which will give you time for a quick hot drink in the Kite Surf Cafe.
We look forward to seeing you soon! And remember, this year, let's all #LoveRhylBeach
