The BIG BIG #RhylSpringClean

So. I have this crazy idea, that between 20 March and 19 April, in parallel with the Keep Wales Tidy #SpringCleanCymru and the SAS #BigSpringBeachClean we can extend the idea to cover every single part of our town and get as many of our community involved in tidying up "our patch" whilst showing others just what an amazing community and town we are.

There's a few more details below ... hope as many of you can and will be able to take part and help.

Diolch!

This spring, Surfers Against Sewage (Rhyl) and #PlasticFreeRhyl are calling on you to help improve the environment on our doorstep.

Working with the SAS annual *Big Spring Beach Clean* and the Keep Wales Tidy #SpringCleanCymru, we’re aiming to inspire hundreds of Rhyl people to join forces to collect and safely dispose of litter from not just our amazing beach, but also our parks and green areas, roads, streets, car-parks, in fact anywhere! Hopefully recycling as much as possible.

So, either organize your own cleanup and let us know about it - we're at www.facebook.com/groups/SASRhyl and https://twitter.com/PlasticFreeRhyl or you can register your event on the Keep Wales Tidy website. Or look out for other events!

Don’t worry if you don’t have any equipment; ordinary gloves and a spare carrier bag is all you basically need; and it could be as short as a 2 minute cleanup by yourself or with friends/work colleagues.

Here’s hoping you can all
help in some way to make this idea a BIG success!
